What is Loka?
Loka is your monthly rental search companion. Tell us your dates, budget and the kind of place you want. We organise rental posts into a shortlist that fits your search, so you can spend less time scrolling and more time planning your move.
What kind of places can I find?
Private rooms, guesthouse rooms, studios and apartments for stays of 1 to 12 months. Choose your neighbourhoods and preferences, from a private kitchen to Wi-Fi or a pool.
Where do the listings come from?
We collect rental offers from selected public Facebook housing groups. Loka organises the details and groups repeated posts. Each listing links back to its source, so you can check the original information and contact the poster.
Can I book or pay through Loka?
You contact the poster directly through the original listing. Loka helps you find and compare places; it does not handle bookings or payments. Always confirm availability, visit where possible and verify the person you are dealing with before paying.
How are my matches chosen?
We compare your budget, dates, areas and property types with the information in each post. Your preferences help rank the results. A match score describes how well a listing fits your search, not a guarantee of property quality or availability.
Will I know when something new comes up?
With an active search and email notifications enabled, Loka can send you strong new matches and a daily roundup. You can change your preferences or pause your search from your account.
Is Loka available outside Bali?
Bali is our first destination, with nine areas to explore. Da Nang, Vietnam, is coming soon. Searches there are not open yet — we will update this page when they are.
Can I change my mind along the way?
Of course. Edit your criteria, save a place for later, hide listings that are not for you, or pause your search. Found your place? Mark your search as finished and make yourself at home.
